CS is a New Zealand leader in cavity slider door systems, they desired expansion in Australia and the US but realised they were being held back by a dated brand that didn’t reflect its innovation or technical craftsmanship. As cavity sliders are often hidden and challenging to install, the brand needed to reposition itself as an “invisible solution” that people value and trust.
The identity streamlined the logo to ‘CS’, asserting leadership in the category. A new strategy, “Open to Possibility,” was introduced to reflect the brand’s forward-thinking, innovation-driven mindset. Underpinned by the philosophy “Together Seeking Better,” CS embraced an approach of continuous improvement with a strong focus on simplifying complexity across design, communication, and process.
The new visual identity was rooted in Swiss minimalism — bold, simple, and precise. A monogram logo used negative space to reflect the hidden nature of the product, abstract application of brand shapes echo the visible states of the door as it slides in and out of its pocket, diffused expressions of the logo reference the common use of privacy glass within pocket doors. Packaging was designed for function and clarity, tailored for both end users and installers. The rebrand positioned CS as a refined, global innovator.
